Uncovering the Truth: My Deep Dive into Dave Cullen’s Columbine

Columbine
I just finished Columbine by Dave Cullen. This was an event that really stuck with me growing up. In April of 1999 I was just getting ready to graduate 8th grade and getting excited to start my freshman year of high school and then after, I remember being so sad, and then hyper vigilant and scared my entire freshman year that something like that might happen in my town. Some of the survivors came and spoke at my school too. I’ve read a few other non-fiction books on this topic, I highly recommend Sue Klebold’s book, but this is definitely the most comprehensive one I’ve ever read. There was so much about the investigation I didn’t know and this book debunks a lot of myths that I believed were true. I tandem read it with the 25th anniversary edition of the audiobook and it has some great extras and interviews too! I highly recommend it!
